   And today we lost you Pietro,
  is there no end to sad events?
  Is there no end to burying loved ones? 
  We'll all miss you, but I hope you are now where    you always wanted to be, in peace.

One Year Ago Today

One year ago today Kotisairaala ordered an ambulance to take my mother to hospital. I had never been an ambulance before, and I was neither brave nor strong... but she was. She never once looked back and held my hand and smiled and said everything would be fine and we both knew that she would never come back to her lovely home again.

One year ago... last night at my mother's home... so many mixed feelings... worry, sadness, fear, and lots of love too.
I'll never thank you enough Jonas, for being there, always.
